CRC coordinates, hosts and conducts First Time Home Buyers Workshops in both English and Spanish which are approved by Mass Housing, North Suburban Consortium (NSC), Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP), Citizen's Housing and Planning Association (CHAPA), Fannie Mae and Lenders. The workshops, which are offered four times a year, provide information on how to buy, and maintain a home. Local realtors, home inspectors, de-leaders, lawyers, and mortgage originators serve as guest speakers.


Participants who successfully complete the program are eligible for low interest MHFA mortgages. Features include down-payment and closing cost assistance, "soft second" mortgages, below market interest rates, flexible underwriting standards, no points, low closing costs, and a multi-bank loan pool.


Participants must attend every session in order to receive certificate!
Time: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Workshop fee $60.00 (Fee is non-refundable)
